St Adrian’s is a friendly and welcoming church in the East Lothian village of Gullane. It serves a congregational area extending south to Drem and west to Longniddry. Our charge is linked with that of St Baldred’s, North Berwick, with whom we share a Rector and rectory.
We offer our traditional worship to all within our congregational area, and beyond. A very warm welcome is given to visitors of all denominations to all our services. In summer months, the church is open by day. During the winter, it is locked during the week but access can be arranged through the Secretary. Visitors’ guides are available at the back of the church.
Trying to uphold Christian values outside our church walls, our members work with a variety of national and local organisations, helping the elderly, the sick and the disadvantaged in the area and the wider world.
ST ADRIAN’S REOPENED FOR WORSHIP ON SUNDAY 9th AUGUST
We are open for a Said Eucharist on Sundays at our usual time of 9.30am.
There is no midweek Wednesday service at the moment.
Social distancing measures will be in place which means we will be limited to a maximum of 25 worshippers.
We will be following all necessary hygiene protocols and there will be no communal singing.
Holy Communion will be offered in one kind only.
Face masks are mandatory for those not exempt.
No-one should feel under any pressure to come especially if you are worried about your health or if you feel uncomfortable at coming at this stage of lockdown easing.
We will continue to produce, send out and deliver the weekly praying at home leaflet for those who feel unable to attend church.
The much appreciated online worship services of the Scottish Episcopal Church will continue to be on offer and can be accessed via the website link in the sidebar.
